Essential Oils

Nature's Flavors has one of the largest selections of essential oils of any company on the Internet or in any store.  We travel the world in search of the source material. From the jungles of Thailand to the rolling hills of China and from the islands of Madagascar and Papua New Guinea to the Coachella Valley of California, we search for quality and consistent supply to bring you the very best essential oils. Many of these oils are finished refined at our facilities in Orange, California.

We test every raw material utilizing gas chromatography and mass spectrometry. We also use high pressure liquid chromatography in many cases to verify peak purity. This provides us and you, our customers, with the cleanest materials free from pesticides, herbicides and any other contaminants that could be harmful or cut down on the quality and purity of our essential oils.

Essential oils have been in use since ancient times. A great deal of history has been written about their use.  In fact, even the Bible makes many references to their uses.

Essential oils are used widely in aromatherapy and homeopathic preparations. They have many healing properties and in many countries, they are used in conjunction with modern medicine.

Nature's Flavors' essential oils find uses as antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral materials.  They are also used for cleaning and sterilizing cooking surfaces.

If you take one teaspoon of olive oil and a few drops of Nature's Flavors' Tea Tree Essential Oil, you can wipe out an athlete's foot infection in as little as one day. You could also use a 50/50 blend of Tea Tree Essential Oil and French Lavender Essential Oil in the Jacuzzi when you feel a sore throat or the early symptoms of a cold or flu coming on. Often times, it knocks out the sore throat within the first hour after exposure in the Jacuzzi. We firmly believe in the healing properties of essential oils. In future articles, Nature's Flavors will begin to show you some of the many uses of essential oils.   We will begin to write recipes using essential oils and the carrier oils that are used to dilute the oils in to a safe form for your skin.
