These Natural Flavors are specially formulated to add Flavor to all kinds of tea leaves and medicinal herbs. Natural flavoring for Teas and medicinal herbs is a special blend of essential oils, aromatic compounds and natural flavor essences. This special blend is set in a base of ethyl alcohol and glycerin. This natural flavor is designed to penetrate cellulose based plat material. This natural flavor is heat stable and long lasting. It is best if you spray the flavor on to the herbs and store it in an airtight container for a period of not less than twenty four hours and it is best if stored and aged for five days. This will allow the flavor to completely permeate the plant fibers. For the do it yourself approach to flavoring your own herbs you should spray the herbs layed flat out or spread out on a flat surface. You can use a sprayer similar to those used for window cleaner. You can find these sprayers at home depot or any hardware store. These natural flavorings are Kosher, Vegan,Gluten Free, and contain no allergens. These all Natural, and Certified, Flavors are also Gluten Free, and contain no sugar. To flavor 1 lbs. of coffee beans, we recommend, placing them in a seal-able jar and adding 1 level teaspoon of our Coffee & Tea Flavorings, then mix thoroughly for several minutes. Then seal the jar, and keep it sealed for 24 hours. This allows the Flavors to soak in and some of the alcohol to evaporate out. After that just grind your flavored beans and enjoy your coffee! When applying to dried herb, or tea leaves we recommend using a sprayer to better distribute the flavor over your entire product. Nature's Flavors has recently renamed our Flavor Oils for Coffee and Tea (Coffee and Tea Flavoring Oils) to Tea Flavor and Coffee Flavor from (Coffee and Tea Flavoring Systems). We have done this because the name Flavor Oil was misleading. This product is identical in every aspect except we replaced Oil with System. Natures Flavors Coffee and Tea Flavor are not set in an oil base, and are not oil soluble. They are a direct evolution from our Flavor Extracts. Like our Flavor Extracts they are set in an alcohol base, in addition, these Flavors also include a vegetable glycerin component to help the flavors permeate the coffee beans and/or tea leaves. It will evaporate out of the beans or herbs usually within the first 24 hours you will smell a little alcohol when you first open the sealed container, any remaining alcohol will burn off immediately when you brew the coffee or tea.
