Nature's Flavors' Green Apple Flavored Coffee Syrup is a perfect match for your cold treats, as well as baked goodies and beverage mixes. There are many ways in which you can spice up your life with Green Apple Flavored Coffee Syrup: mix it in hot chocolate on cold winter days to keep you warm; in a nice frappucino to refresh you when it's hot outside. Drink it simply with cold soda, like you used to at the soda fountain when you were in high school, and add a few fresh citrus slices. Mix it with freshly squeezed grapefruit juice and freshly crushed ginger to make a fiery Carribean drink. You can also use it for ice creams, sorbets and snow cones- with plain shaved ice, with lemon juice or with cream. Or, for a more elaborate dessert, whip up some scrumptious ice cream and drizzle Green Apple Flavored Coffee Syrup all over it; serve with a cherry on top. You can also use Green Apple Flavored Coffee Syrup on hot pancakes and waffles for a delicious breakfast.
Green Apple Flavored Coffee Syrup can be used in your hot, aromatic, cup of coffee, instead of sugar; but its usage is far from being limited to coffee only. You can use it to flavour lemonades, fizzy or fruity drinks, fruit cocktails and smoothies, or even herbal teas. With still or sparkling water, it is a healthier alternative to store-bought sodas and refreshments. Try it in a glass of soda water, with crushed lemons and a small dash of ginger juice, for an energising soft drink to be enjoyed at any time of the day. Mix Green Apple Flavored Coffee Syrup with a bit of water, fruit compote or maybe even a small dash of liqueur such as rum or brandy to use as a syrup for cake layers. Furthermore, you can use Green Apple Flavored Coffee Syrup as a flavouring for ice creams, snow cones, sorbets and slushies; or as a topping for your favourite desserts- try mixing it with fresh, pitted and blended cherries for a wonderful panna cota sauce; or you could simply use it as a sweetener and sauce for fruit salads; try it with slices of apple, pear, grape, blood orange and pineapple. You can also use Green Apple Flavored Coffee Syrup to replace sugar and flavourings in baking, as it is quite heat resistant.
It's no mystery where the Green Apple began, but it is a mystery how its green color is prominent by chance! It all began in Australia. At the time, in the mid-1800s, there was no such thing as a Green Apple. There were only Red Apples and its variants, until one day the chance seedling sprouted and produced beautiful and tasty Green Apples. These Green Apples required less cold winter temperature than Red Apples and matured much faster, although as the Green Apples matured, their flavor would balance out and acidity levels would drop. This delectable fruit became a staple in Australian culture for culinary creations, as well as a tasty treat by eating it raw. Today, the Green Apple is produced all over the world, with China being one of the predominant cultivators of this enticingly delicious fruit.
You may ask, why is the Green Apple referred to as the Granny Smith Green Apple? Well, it is said that in the year 1868, Australian-born woman, Maria Ann Smith, cultivated a chance seedling. A chance seedling is a plant that occurred because of unintentional breeding in the specific species of plant. This chance seedling turned into a deliciously bright green apple that has become a staple in many cooking and baking uses today, such as pies and cakes. Due to Maria Ann Smith's planting of the Green Apple chance seedling, the Green Apple receives its nickname, the Granny Smith Apple, from her legend.
The Green Apple contains a high source of fiber. This fiber helps with digestive wellness, as well as balance. The Green Apple has a variety of antioxidants that improve skin clarity and texture.
