Red Color (Hibiscus) is a Liquid Coloring, made from 100% all-natural ingredients. Packed full of powerful antioxidants, this natural red coloring is heat stable and can be used in most baking applications. Care should be taken to not over cook this color and cool down the finished product as quickly as possible. This natural red color also freezes well and is stable for long term. This color can be used in oil based applications but acts more like a suspension and will not completely dissolve. When making lip balms you can get a red color but you must mix and cool quickly. This natural red color is designed to replace artificial red #40 color. You can mix this natural color with other colors and our organic colors. To make a natural bright red or fire orange color, add some of our organic yellow color or organic orange color. This color is best stored in a cool and dark place. Nature's Flavors natural red color is rich in antioxidants and can be used for for supplementing the body. Just add some to juice or you can add to water with some honey or maple syrup to sweeten it up. Enjoy!
