Latin Name: Eucalyptus globulus

General Description: This oil has a scent that is familiar to most people. It has been used traditionally as a scenter for the linen closet. The leaves of the eucalyptus are put in a small cloth bag and inserted into the closet. More recently, it is known to be a very effective insect repellent.

How It's Made: The leaves and the twigs are used together in the process of steam distillation to extract the essential oil.
