General Description: The name comes from the fruit which was a traditional gift to the Mandarins of China. It is native to southern China and the Far East and was brought to Europe and the USA in the early to mid 1800s. The Mandarin is produced mainly in Italy, Spain, Algeria, Brazil, Cyprus, the Middle East and Greece. In France, it is regarded as a safe children's remedy for minor stomach ailments also safe for pregnant women and is recommended in synergistic combinations with other citrus oils. Mandarin Orange Essential Oil is a Pure Oil.
How It's Made: The oil comes by cold expression from the outer peel.
