Latin Name: citrus sinensis General Description A very nutritious fruit containing vitamins A, B and C. More sweet orange oil is produced than any other citrus oil. It has a lively, fruity, sweet aroma and is pressed from the peels. It is used to scent citrus, fruity and eau de cologne fragrances. The oil of the Sweet Orange is delightfully bright and cheery and strongly antidepressing. In Chinese medicine the orange peel is used to treat numerous ailments including anorexia and malignant breast sores.
